There has been some minor refactoring of the model classes due to utilizing Combine and adaption to RsyncUI. I think the first time users load up app screen should focus on this and it would look like this - allowing drag and drop of source (local)/ target (remote). RsyncUI is reusing a lot of the model classes from RsyncOSX. I do think there's something simple here that would help users though - and you've already made an effort to point people in right direction with this text(drag and drop folders here).
